IU East’s Commencement Ceremony is May 11

Indiana University East will host its 41st Commencement Ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 11, at the Richmond High School Tiernan Center.

This year, the university will confer 445 baccalaureate degrees and 16 master’s degrees. The awarding of the degrees is a significant increase for IU East. In 2005, the university conferred 156 baccalaureate degrees and 86 associate degrees. IU East no longer offers associate degree programs and conferred its final four associate degrees in 2011.

IU East’s 40th Commencement Ceremony set for May 13

Tuesday, May 10th

Nearly 400 degrees will be conferred at the 40th Indiana University East Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 13. Commencement begins at 6 p.m. in the Tiernan Center at Richmond High School.

IU East celebrates 40 years of impact, education

Monday, May 9th

Indiana University East will kick off its 40th anniversary celebration with the Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 13.  The campus will continue the celebration throughout the fall, concluding with Homecoming Week in November.

IU East to award IU honorary degree to Douglas C. Bennett

Monday, April 4th

Indiana University East will award an Indiana University honorary degree during its 40th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 13, at the Richmond High School Tiernan Center. The honorary degree will recognize the exceptional service to higher education that has been at the heart of the career of Earlham College President Douglas C. Bennett, Ph.D.
