Visiting Writer Bianca SpriggsRichmond, Ind. – Affrilachian Poet and Cave Canem Fellow Bianca Lynne Spriggs is an award-winning poet and multidisciplinary artist from Lexington, Ky. Spriggs will read from her work from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, in the Whitewater Hall art gallery. The event is free and open to the public.

The Indiana University East School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Writers Club will host poet Juan J. Morales as he presents, “Riding the Zombie Wave: Conventions and Investigations of the Undead,” from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, March 19, in Whitewater Hall room 132. This event is sponsored by Mindful Explorations, courtesy of the William H. and Jean R. Reller Endowment.
Indiana University East students will take part in a national effort to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire by hosting a poetry reading and PBS feature film. Both events are free and open to the public.
