Cameron Cox is the Indiana University East recipient of the 2011 Indiana University Presidential Scholar award. IU awards the Adam W. Herbert Presidential Scholars award to incoming students at each campus. Cox is the campus’ sixth Presidential Scholar. He graduated from Monroe Central High School and was the valedictorian of his class.

Victoria Hicks graduated from Randolph Southern High School last spring, a school best known for its decades-long domination at state academic super bowl competitions.
Hicks’ academic record puts her former school’s success into perspective. She finished fourth out of 43 students, despite amassing a 4.5 grade point average, a product of a weighted grading scale.

Richmond, Ind. – Indiana University East is pleased to announce its third student to receive the Indiana University Presidential Scholar award chosen from the Richmond campus. IU awarded the scholarship to 68 students to attend the university and its regional campuses as members of the class of Adam W. Herbert Presidential Scholars. From IU East, Kayla Bush of Winchester recently received the scholarship. Bush attended Winchester Community High School.
