Indiana University East’s Master of Science in Management program within the School of Business and Economics welcomes applications for its third cohort to begin August 2013. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis with priority given to applications received prior to July 1.

New professional staff join IU East

Friday, March 22nd

Indiana University East welcomes new professional staff to campus. The continuous increase in enrollment for IU East requires additional staff members in order to further enhance the campus’ mission as a comprehensive bachelor’s and master’s degree institution. IU East has grown student enrollment for 15 consecutive semesters (including summer sessions).

IUEAA seeks nominations for 2013 Distinguished Alumni Award

The Indiana University East Alumni Association invites members of the community and other interested individuals to submit nominations for the 2013 Indiana University East Distinguished Alumni Award.

The IU East Distinguished Alumni Award provides an opportunity to recognize outstanding Indiana University East alumni who have distinguished themselves through personal and professional accomplishments, community service, involvement with the University, and involvement with the Alumni Association.

IU East’s Center for Leadership Development’s upcoming Management Series focuses on managing teams

Tuesday, November 20th

The IU East Center for Leadership Development’s next Management Series workshop is from 1-4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room.

The cost of the management workshop is $75. Visit iue.edu/leadership to register and to learn about discounts for multiple participants from the same organization, discounts for Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce members and certificate options.

IU East’s Center for Leadership Development to host Career Advantage Series on Influencing Skills

The IU East Center for Leadership Development will host a Career Advantage Series from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room.

IU East Campus Police provides cadet program for students to gain professional experience, certification

The Indiana University East Campus Police Department is offering a new professional training program for students interested in careers in law enforcement.

Campus Police Chief Burt Cole said IU East is participating in the Indiana University Police Department Cadet Program for the first time this fall semester, along with IU Kokomo and IU Southeast.

IU East Center for Development receives grant for the Academy for Cultivating Talent

The Indiana University East Center for Leadership Development will receive a grant from the Indiana University Women’s Philanthropy Council to establish a new Academy for Cultivating Talent. The IU Women’s Philanthropy Council announced the award recipients on March 6.

School of Education sponsors Professional Clothing for Success Store

The Indiana University East School of Education and the Student Education Association are sponsoring a Professional Clothing for Success Store (PCS) for all IU East students. Anyone who would like to share gently used professional clothing and accessories may drop the items off in the Springwood Hall Campus Life Conference Room, located in office suite 107. The drop-off dates and times are Thursday, September 10, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. or Friday, September 11, between 7:30 a.m. and noon.
