(Richmond, Ind.) A dedication ceremony for the Quigg Family Foundation Nursing Laboratory and the Reid Hospital & Health Care Services Simulation Lab will be held August 24. The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. and be held in Hayes Hall on the patio.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony.

Karen Clark, Dean of Nursing at Indiana University East, said, “As Dean of the IU School of Nursing at IU East, I am pleased to recognize the Quigg Family Foundation and Reid Hospital and Health Care Services for their support. I believe the acquisition of new resources and equipment, along with new space design has provided a “state-of-the-art” laboratory for our students. These changes enhance student learning and ultimately impact the nursing care for those whom our students/graduates serve.”

Reid Hospital and the Quigg Family Foundation were instrumental in the development of the lab. Both continue today in sharing the dedication to help enrich the lives of the students at IU East as well as those who live in the region
