April 17, 2012 |

Many small businesses are striving to understand how to leverage social media and technology to support their marketing strategy. The IU East Center for Leadership Development is hosting a Spring Leadership Forum, in conjunction with HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Engage) Richmond, to address this topic on Thursday, April 26, in the Community Room, located in Whitewater Hall. The speaker, Taulbee Jackson, will discuss his company’s experience managing the social media for the Super Bowl and lessons for small businesses.

The forum will begin with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. with the presentation from 8-9:30 a.m.

Taulbee Jackson is the founder and President/CEO of Raidious. Raidious builds audiences for national and global enterprise brands across their “owned media” platforms, taking a unique approach to content development, engagement, and strategic services that deliver measurable results.

Raidious, which managed the social media for the 2012 Super Bowl, is also recognized for the innovative ways the company uses technology to run its business.

Fredricka Joyner, director of the IU East Center for Leadership Development said, “We are very fortunate to have an opportunity to hear from Taulbee Jackson. His company’s innovative approach to marketing, demonstrated by its work with the Super Bowl, will soon land Raidious in the national spotlight.”

There is no charge for this session; it is being sponsored by the IU East School of Business and Economics and HYPE Richmond.
