IU East receives Circle of Excellence Award from CASE

Isept09 038ndiana University East recently received international recognition from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). IU East received a Circle of Excellence Bronze Award in the category of Excellence in Design – Specialty Pieces for its Run with the Wolves Bus Wrap.

CASE is one of the largest international associations of education institutions, serving more than 3,400 universities, colleges, schools, and related organizations in 61 countries. CASE is the leading resource for professional development, information, and standards in the fields of education fundraising, communications, marketing and alumni relations.

According to CASE, the awards acknowledge superior accomplishments that have lasting impact, demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and deliver exceptional results. Entries were judged by a panel of colleagues in the areas of alumni relations, advancement services, communications and marketing, and fundraising.

This year, 615 institutions from around the world submitted more than 2,700 entries in the Circle of Excellence awards program.

“IU East was the only public institution from the state to receive an excellence award,” said John Oak Dalton, director of Communications and Marketing.  “It means a lot to our staff to not only represent our work in this way, but to represent the state of Indiana and Indiana University in this international forum.”

This is the first Circle of Excellence award for IU East.

IU East has received 16 regional, national and international awards in the last year for excellence in communications, marketing, fundraising and special events.
