Indiana University East Fine Arts program is hosting its third national juried exhibition, themed “Histories and Memories,” with the support of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Mindful Explorations. The exhibit is open now through March 3 in the Tom Thomas Gallery, located in Whitewater Hall and online at http://www.iue.edu/gallery/nje/memories/.
The “90s Kids: Still Wild and Crazy” art exhibit will be open to the public from July 27 – September 25, Room 912, located at 912 East Main Street in Richmond.
Indiana University East has faculty available to discuss the ongoing developments in North Korea and its continuous threats of possible military action against South Korea and the U.S.
Ann Kim is an assistant professor of fine arts in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She lived in South Korea before moving at the age of 13. Her parents continue to live in South Korea.
Indiana University East has several new full-time faculty members on staff this fall. The additional faculty will further enhance the campus’ mission as a comprehensive bachelor’s and master’s degree institution.
“IU East continues to grow and, to accommodate the growth, has added more full-time faculty over the past two years,” says Larry Richards, executive vice chancellor for academic affairs at IU East. “We expect the trend to continue and to add even more full-time faculty positions in the years to come.”
