Indiana University East maintains a strong enrollment this fall. The campus has a fall headcount enrollment of 3,490 students, who are enrolled in 36,300 credit hours. The head count enrollment represents a 2.6 percent decrease compared to last fall, but the decline reflects a change in the way enrollment figures are calculated, and a large graduating class this past spring.
Indiana University East will offer a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science degree online beginning fall 2017.
The degree program is in collaboration with Indiana University Online, and jointly includes IU Kokomo, IU Northwest, IU South Bend and IU Southeast. The program encompasses 120 credit hours and is designed to enhance potential for career advancement in entry- and midlevel positions in health-related organizations. Two tracks will be offered: community health education and health administration.
While preparing for the Miami Open in Key Biscayne, Fla., Shelby Rogers was also making arrangements to talk with her academic advisor at Indiana University East so that she could register for summer and fall classes.
Cincinnati, Ohio – A group of Indiana University East administrators, faculty, staff, and friends of the university attended the Western & Southern Open (WSO) tournament to meet a few of their online students on August 16. The WSO tournament was held at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, located about an hour and a half from the IU East campus.
The agreement is similar in some respects to the IU East and Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) agreement, now in its second year.
