Jackie Carberry is the recipient of this year’s 2015 ATHENA Leadership Award for Wayne County. Carberry, of Centerville, Ind., was presented the award during the ATHENA celebration dinner held June 23 at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond. The event recognizes women leaders who motivate, inspire and create positive change in the community.
The Indiana University East Center for Leadership Development’s 2015 Spring Leadership Forum will be presented by Courtney Martin an author, blogger and speaker. She will present “Next Generation Leaders.”

Indiana University East Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences Katherine Frank has been named as the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Northern Kentucky University. She will begin her duties at NKU July 1, 2014.
The Indiana University East School of Business and Economics Center for Leadership Development will host its Spring Leadership Forum beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, in Whitewater Hall, Vivian Auditorium. The presentation is “BOOST 2.0: From Vision to Vitality Building on Our Strengths Together.”

The Creating Innovation Series includes diverse sessions that explore the role of art, design, and creativity in fostering innovation. The Indiana University East Center for Leadership Development will host an upcoming workshop on Decoding Creativity from 8:30a.m. to noon Thursday, March 6, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room.
