Neon Trees will perform in concert Thursday, April 11, announced today by Indiana University East and the Student Activity Advisory Team. The doors will open at 7 p.m. with the concert starting at 8 p.m. and will be held at the Richmond High School Tiernan Center.
Indiana University East students will perform Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream August 12-14. The outdoor performance will be staged by the bridge, accessible from the Tom Raper Hall parking lot.
The performance is free and open to the public.
IU East will sponsor two musical events this weekend on campus and in the Richmond community.
IU East guitar instructor, David Taulbee, will have a faculty recital at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 17. This event is free and open to the public.
The IU East Alumni Association and the IU East Office of Multicultural Affairs will present Sonnets for my Sistahs: The game at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 19 in Vivian Auditorium.
Music recitals bring holidays, Broadway to Vivian Auditorium
The public is invited to attend a duo recital on Thursday, December 4 featuring IU East students Danielle Phelps and Ryan Shaw. The performance will be held at 7 p.m. in Vivian Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
The Indiana University East Alumni Association will host Indiana University’s the Singing Hoosiers at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 17. The Singing Hoosiers will perform in Vivian Auditorium, located in Whitewater Hall. The event kicks off a new series in which the IU East Alumni Association will bring Indiana University entertainment to campus each semester.
Indiana University East will host a special presentation by internationally known Australian performance and multi-media artist Stelarc. Stelarc will give a presentation on Thursday, October 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Vivian Auditorium. The artist is traveling to five IU campuses around the state through the support of Indiana University Exhibitions (IUEX).
