Paul Kriese has endowed one of the largest gifts from a faculty member to Indiana University East and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS).
Indiana University East has faculty available to discuss the election on a local, state and national level. Ross Alexander, dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Chera LaForge, assistant professor of political science, will be available to discuss this year’s election.
The next Community Engagement Series, “Making Sense of Madness: Campaigns and Elections in the Modern Era,” will be presented by School of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean Ross Alexander and Assistant Professor of Political Science Chera LaForge. The presentation will be held on Thursday, October 8, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room.
Indiana University East has faculty available to discuss the ongoing developments in North Korea and its continuous threats of possible military action against South Korea and the U.S.
Ann Kim is an assistant professor of fine arts in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She lived in South Korea before moving at the age of 13. Her parents continue to live in South Korea.
Indiana University East will welcome Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven H. David to campus at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, in Tom Raper Hall, room 124. The event is a part of the Constitution Week Celebration at IU East. The event is free and open to the public.
