Indiana University East awarded five scholarships for the 2017 Summer Research Scholar Program. Graduate and undergraduate students receive $2,000 to conduct a research project under the supervision of a faculty mentor.
Trevor Boram’s heroes have always been scientists, and now the 20-year-old Indiana University East junior from Arcanum, Ohio, is joining them as he helps to “lay the foundation” for research into skin cancer avoidance and/or cures.
Upcoming Crossroads Reading Series features students from IU East, Earlham College and Richmond High School
The Crossroads Reading Series will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, at IU East’s Room 912, located at 912 E. Main Street in Richmond. This event is free and open to the public.

Funding for the competitive program is provided by the Indiana University Office of the Vice Provost for Research and is matched by funds from IU East. All recipients will present their research findings during the seventh annual Student Research Day in spring 2015.
