B.S. in Biotechnology (124 cr.)
The Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology provides you with a background in the biological and technical sciences in preparation for employment or advanced study. The degree program will prepare you for study beyond the baccalaureate, such as graduate school, medicine, dentistry, veterinary, pharmacy, or allied health.
General Requirements for Graduation
- Completed institutional program requirements
- Completed 30 credit hours of 200 level or higher
- Completed 15 credit hours of the concentration
- Completion of the capstone course (BIOL L452)
- Completed 30 credit hours at the 300-400 level
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.3
- C or better in all biology courses taken for the major (see below)
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 in the biology courses taken for the major
- Minimum GPA of 2.0 in the core requirements (see below)
- Completed 124 credit hours
