Death and dying…the end of the compelling human story. Our final exit from this world presents one of the hugest human ironies of all - Death is one of life’s passages about which we should know the most; yet, it is the one about which we know (and wish to talk about) the least. In our medically advanced, technological world today, understanding the difficult nature of this final chapter of the human story has become even more complex. This presentation will explore the history of human death and dying, and examine the impact of current conditions upon how human lives come to a conclusion, and how the final chapter of their lives become written.
