Parking Enforcement

Who needs a parking permit?

Students, faculty and staff who park a vehicle on campus or any designated IU meeting facility must display a valid IU parking permit.

Regulations

Permits are registered to the individual and not to the vehicle. In the event you drive a non-permit bearing vehicle, contact the receptionist at the information desk upon your arrival on campus and fill out a form provided for that purpose. Permits are to hang from the rear view mirror and hang facing the windshield (outward). Permits will be mailed to students by the IUEPD after required fees are paid.

Student Permits are issued 3 times yearly - Fall, Spring and Summer sessions. Student Permits are valid on any IU East parking lot.

Faculty / Staff permits may be picked up at the Human Resources office in Whitewater Hall, room 124, after August 15th. These permits are valid for one year, they may be paid for by payroll deduction, cash or check.
