Resuming College after an Absence

Former students of Indiana University (any IU campus)

1. You do NOT need to go back through admissions. Instead...

3. Inform the staff that you are a "former IU student" and that you would like to "resume your studies." The Student Records staff will check your record while a student at Indiana University and then assist you in the process of "re-activating your record" in order for you to register for classes here at IU East.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have previous college work, and have NEVER attended any of the IU campuses, then "yes" you will need to apply for admissions through the Office of Admissions.
