Policies
Academic Standing
Students whose cumulative grade point average falls below 2.0-C will be subject to probation/suspension according to the policies of Indiana University East.
Repeated Courses
Repeated courses will not count toward the BGS degree unless indicated in the Indiana University East catalog.
Residency Requirement
In order to be awarded the BGS degree. Students must have declared this major for a minimum of 20 credit hours.
Credit by Examination
Students who wish to pursue credit by examination should contact the appropiate academic department at Indiana University East. Credit Awarded for Nondepartmental Examinations
Self-Acquired Competency
Students may prepare a portfolio of evidence of competency in a particular area. This will be reviewed by faculty in the corresponding discipline and credit may be awarded if approved. Please contact Mary Blakefield for additional information.
