Programs
The IU East Child Development Center offers several age-based programs.
Two-rific Twos
Two-year-olds are at a unique stage in their lives-they are no longer infants and are beginning to assert their independence. This program teaches children appropriate ways to assert themselves, by supporting their individuality and by introducing social guidelines. The use of words to express feelings is emphasized, the environment provides opportunities for the child to be in control, and participation in group activities is encouraged.
Tres-mendous Threes
This program helps three-year-olds become enthusiastic learners and enhances their growth socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. The program is designed to help children make the transition toward independence, establish self-confidence, and develop the desire for life-long learning.
Pre-K Pals
This program helps four- and five-year-olds become enthusiastic learners and enhances their growth socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. The program is designed to help children make the transition toward independence, establish self-confidence, and develop the desire for life-long learning.
Summer Enrichment
This program is offered during the summer months for children between the ages of 6 to 12. Centered around weekly themes, the program also gives your child the chance to participate in various activities such as journaling, outdoor recreation, and math and reading labs.
