Helping You Succeed!
Student Support Services assists students in adjusting to and succeeding in college by providing comprehensive academic assistance.
What is Student Support Services?
Student Support Services (S.S.S.) is a federally funded TRiO program through the U.S. Department of Education. S.S.S. provides a comprehensive support system for eligible students who show potential for success in college and who can benefit from individual help and encouragement. Student Support Services at Indiana University East is funded to serve 200 students a year.
Who is Eligible?
Students may apply to Student Support Services if they meet at least one of these eligibility requirements:
- First-Generation College Student - Neither of the student's parents has a four-year college degree.
- Low Income Student - The student meets the program's low-income guidelines.
- Student with a Disability - The student has a documented disability.
What Services are Available?
S.S.S. includes services in the following three success areas.

If you are interested in the services provided, print and fill out the application. Forward it to Student Support Services, or turn it in at Whitewater Hall 116. Early applications are encouraged as S.S.S. is funded to serve a limited number of students each year.
