Where'd We Go?
The beginning of 2010 has brought a number of changes to the campus. We have repositioned some offices in order to better serve your needs. All of your favorite people are still here—however, they might be in a new office or in a new position. Below is some information that will help you find the staff and the offices that are important to your academic success.
University College
University College is in Springwood 202 (formerly the home of Tutorial Services). You’ll find Carrie Heller, Katy Huling and Lindsey DeCarlo in the offices here. New to University College is a Testing Center, supervised by Bob Lang. The Honors Center is now located in Springwood 202A. Amber Lehman will be at the front desk to help answer your questions and direct you to the staff.
Mathematics Center
The Mathematics Center is in Whitewater 280, supervised by Neena Wilson. You’ll find math mentors here who are ready to offer assistance. Neena’s office is in Whitewater 200A.
Writing Center
The Writing Center is in Whitewater 206, supervised by Eleni Siatra. The writing consultants will provide you with support for all of your writing needs. Eleni’s office is now in Whitewater 278.
Supplemental Instruction (SI)
Mary Mahank is the Director of Academic Support Programs, now housed in Whitewater 110A. She will continue supervision of Supplemental Instruction; the SI Center is in WZ 111.
David Silberstein is the Academic Support Specialist and he will be working closely with Mary Mahank to implement special programming and advising. David is located in WZ 110D.
Jerri Libert is a visiting lecturer, teaching history and political science. Her new office is in Tom Raper Hall 323.
Student Support / Disability Services
Disability Services are now located in the Whitewater 110 suite. Tracy Taylor is in WZ 110C and she will soon be joined by a new staff member in WZ 110B.
Reading Assistance
The Reading Assistance Testing Room, part of the Reading Center, is in Tom Raper Hall 325, and Lee Ann Adams can be found in TR 327.
