What is the Wolf Card?
The Wolf Card is the official university identification card for students, faculty and staff.
What does the Wolf Card do?
Besides needing your Wolf Card to identify yourself as a member of the campus community, you will need your Wolf Card to:
  • Participate in the Personal Dining Plan
  • Check out a library book
  • Attend sporting events
  • Utilize the Flexible Pre-Paid Account
  • Make photocopies (using your printing allotment)
The Wolf Card is an essential part of everyday campus life. Remember to carry it with you at all times.
What is a Wolf Card Flexible Pre-Paid Account?
A Wolf Card Flexible Pre-Paid Account is very similar to a bank card, whereby purchases can be made around campus. Make a deposit to your account and swipe your Wolf Card at various locations on campus instead of using cash or credit cards.
Are you required to get a Wolf Card?
Yes, the Wolf Card is required. Not only is the Wolf Card required to identify you as a member of the campus community, it is an essential part of everyday campus life.
What will happen if I do not have a Wolf Card?
If you do not have a Wolf Card, besides not be able to take advantage of the convenience to use your card to make purchases throughout campus, you will not be able to check out a library book, or take advantage of the option to have family members make gift deposits to your account.
Does it cost?
For students, faculty, and staff, your first Wolf Card is free. There is a $10 replacement fee for a lost, stolen, or damaged card.
How do I get a Wolf Card?
Students must be registered for classes at IU East and bring a valid photo id to the Campus Life Office in Springwood Halll 107. If you have registered within the last 24 hours, please bring a print out of your class schedule.
How do I open an account or make a deposit?
Start the process by simply making a deposit to your Flexible Pre-Paid Account. Go to www.iue.edu/wolfcard To view a list of deposit options.
Will my old university student ID card still work?
No, it is required that you get a Wolf Card. Your old university student ID card has a different magnetic strip that will not comply with the new software.
Where can I use my Wolf Card Flexible Pre-Paid Account?
Your Wolf Card Flexible Pre-Paid Account can be used at:
  • The Den Campus Café
  • Brewfus Coffee Bar
  • Barnes & Noble Campus Bookstore (IUE Location Only)
  • More Locations Coming Soon!
What do I do if my Wolf Card is lost, stolen, or it becomes damaged?
Should your Wolf Card become lost or stolen, contact Card Services during regular office hours to immediately deactivate your card at 765-973-8601. In addition, you may deactivate any Wolf Card account at any time on-line at http://www.iue.edu/wolfcard/manage. There is a $10 replacement fee for lost, stolen, or damaged Wolf Cards. If you suspect that your card has been stolen, please file a police report with the Indiana University East Police Department. If your card does not work, bring the card to the Campus Life Office for a replacement. There is no fee to replace malfunctioning cards.
Can I withdraw cash once I've made a deposit?
IU East Card Services does not allow cash withdrawals from your accounts.
How can I keep track of my balance?
You can call or visit the Bursar's office to request your balance or review your transaction history on-line at http://www.iue.edu/wolfcard/manage. Almost everywhere on campus that your Wolf Card is accepted will display your remaining balance after a transaction.
Can I get a refund of unused money in my account?
Yes. The University will refund the remaining balance of Your Wolf Card account, less a $15.00 service charge. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the Bursar's Office. Refunds require four to six weeks for processing.
Does unused money rollover from semester to semester?
Yes. Your balance will remain on your Wolf Card Account until a period of 12 months of non-use occurs. If a Wolf Card account has sustained no activity for a period of 12 months or more, has a positive balance, and no refund request has been submitted, the Account will be determined inactive and assessed a $3 monthly fee until one of the following occurs: (1) the Wolf Card is used by you for payment; (2) the balance reaches zero (0); or (3) after a period of 60 months a positive balance still remains in the Account greater than $15, the remaining funds are considered unclaimed property by Indiana University East and will be escheated to the state.
I am an online student. How do I get my Wolf Card?
 Online students can request their Wolf Card by sending an email to wolfcard@iue.edu.  A card will be sent to you to the address on file with the university.

Personal Dining Plan

What is the Personal Dining Plan Account?
The Personal Dining Plan Account may be created to enable the Wolf Card to purchase food items in The Den Campus Café and Brewfus. View detailed information about the Personal Dining Plan options at www.iue.edu/wolfcard/diningplan.php .
Where can I use the Personal Dining Plan?
The Personal Dining Plan can only be used in The Den Campus Café and Brewfus. 
Who can use the Personal Dining Plan?
The Personal Dining Plan can be purchased by students, faculty, and employees of IU East.
Why should I purchase a Personal Dining Plan?
The Personal Dining Plan includes "Reward Dollars" for savings of up to 20%.
How do I purchase the Personal Dining Plan?
The Personal Dining Plan must be purchased from the Bursar's Office (room 102 Whitewater Hall). You may download a copy of the application form.
Is the Personal Dining Plan the same as the Flexible Pre-Paid Account?
No, the Personal Dining Plan and Flexible Pre-Paid Account are two separate Wolf Card accounts. You may have both accounts on the card at the same time. The Personal Dining Plan can only be used in The Den Campus Cafe and Brewfus, whereas the Flexible Pre-Paid Account can be used in any location that accepts the Wolf Card.
