If you've received a grade of C or better in a class at a regionally accredited university, that coursework will usually transfer to IU. The number of credits that count toward your degree will depend on the requirements of the program you enter. Keep in mind that there is not necessarily a one-to-one relationship between courses at your current school and courses at IU. Also, if courses reside in a department that does not exist on your chosen campus, you may not receive credit. Some of your credits may count toward general electives or general education requirements rather than toward your degree.
If you have any questions about your transfer credit please contact your Transfer Guide. You can email your Transfer Guide at email@example.com.
