Hey Hey Hey!!

11/30/2009

So now that my past dilemma has been solved, another can of worms has been opened, not that my life is just peachy or anything. I still have to hyper-watch what I am spending so I don't get myself into anymore trouble. I picked up a lot of hours at work so I can work off what I had spent originally and what I have left for Christmas to get for everyone except I am pretty much done with everyone- just a few more things I need to pick up but I am being extra careful about how much I am spending and what I spend it on. I can't have anymore trouble especially now. So with my new can of worms- I bought Entertainment Books, three of them online for Christmas to give away and I bought them Nov. 12th, thinking normally I would get them within standard shipping of two weeks.... wrong. They still aren't here and not that I was worried about it but it puzzled me enough that I had to call and ask about them and I was given a statement that they were shipped out on the 17th. Okay, its the holidays things are a little slower, I get it- but what I don't get is why I have to freak out about it? So if they come... then great, they are here... if they don't all I have to do is a Visa charge-back and dispute the order. Hopefully they arrive this week so I can wrap them for my brothers. If they don't arrive in time I have back up, I am getting them drill bit sets because every guy almost needs those (okay well maybe not every guy)! But my guys do! I already have Derrick pretty much done- he is going to get a few more surprises but I he wanted some more Xbox games so he picked out a few which one I had to give to him early for driving me all over creation all the time.  I should have everything done and mostly wrapped this week except for the blanket I am finishing for the baby, and a John Deere fleece blanket for Derrick's mom. I hope everyone is getting their Christmas out of the way early before finals so you can actually relax during our Winter break before Spring starts. And remember not to spend a fortune... there are plenty of gifts for everyone for less. And if you buy online... BEWARE!! My Christmas list this year is very simple- I want a JD hoodie, an IUE Redwolves hoodie, and a kitchen rolling cupboard thing for all my Tupperware. So now that I am in the Christmas spirit... bah humbug, I can relax knowing that all my shopping is done while everyone else crawls into the store. Ahh the joys of Christmas. Hope everyone has a great week!
