Soleado, con un posibilidad de nieve

04/07/2011

I spent all day inside. I went from tennis practice to class, to class again, and then to work. I worked until 5. I saw the BEAUTIFUL day pass right before my eyes. I got off work and planned on taking Ali on a long, brisk walk. I get out of my car and feel something on my face. It barely brushed me.... IT WAS SNOWING. It flurried lightly for about 10 minutes the other day. BUT, just before that it was sunny with a pretty strong breeze, but snow! In April? It blows my mind.

Why the Spanish title? This is my second year of Spanish here at IU East, and I love it. I really enjoy learning a second language. Not only does it give me a step up ahead of other graduates, but it's nice to know that if need be, I can communicate with Hispanic or Latino people. Their culture and traditions are very interesting me as well. I plan on continuing my Spanish studies and possibly studying abroad. It would be a great opportunity and an experience of a lifetime!

For you sports fans, the IUE men's and women's team have a match on Sunday. We will be leaving the campus at 7:00am. It's been awesome tennis weather! So cross your fingers for good weather and a W. Cross your toes for me, it will be my second match of the Spring season; I'll need all the help I can get. :)
