Corndogs and ghost hunters.

10/07/2010

Today was great. I actually got nine hours of sleep last night. I went to Production, edited a video from the class and hung out with my friend Alyssa. :)

Alyssa and me at WCTV. :)

I have, yet again, another insane week to report. I am SO EXCITED to tell everyone about some things I have been working on...

First of all, I must say that I am incredibly depressed that I am not [required] to take any more Psychology courses for my minor. I understand that it probably sounds pathetic; however, I looked forward to taking my Psychology courses. I don't know. I think it was just a friendly reminder that I am graduating soon. College is slowly but surely coming to a close. These have been some of the best years of my life. Over the past three to four years, I have truly discovered who I am (I am still unsure of [what] I want to be though haha). But enough of that. I will save the waterworks for next semester.

Anyway, I am excited to say that I will be working on advertising for Student Government Association. Soon, we will have social networking websites up and running. This way, you guys can contact us with your questions or concerns. We (the members of Student Government Association) want you to know that it is crucial we hear your voice. Also, the websites will allow you to understand what exactly SGA does. Cool, huh? Look for us.

CORNDOGS!

By the way, as I'm typing this, I'm laying in bed, watching Dateline and eating corndogs. Corndogs... are... awesome. ANYWAY...

Homecoming-Homecoming-Homecoming-Homecoming. OMFG.

Wednesday, October 27th at 4:30pm: Come run with us for the Nearly Naked Mile. No, seriously, it will be so much fun. Leave your shyness at home! Strip down, donate your clothes to charity, and RUN! :) :) Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow will be there. We will be passing out awesome Nearly Naked t-shirts to the first 225 registrants. Also, we will be awarding prizes to the top male and female finishers AND the person with the best costume. I'm going to be looking pretty sweet for the event, and you should too! GO HERE: NEARLY NAKED MILE

Thursday, October 28th at 5:30pm: Some IU East students are going to "show us what they've got" at the Media Club Talent Show. I was there to judge the auditions. All I have to say is that I am superrrrr excited. Be there. :)

Patrick Burns (far right), star of TruTV's Haunting Evidence, will be at IU East!

Same night at 7:30pm: The 3rd annual IU East Homecoming Bonfire! It will be behind Hayes Hall and it will be so much fun. Come and socialize around the fire with your friends. Later that night, the star from TruTV's Haunting Evidence, Patrick Burns, will be at IU East. He will be sitting around the fire telling stories about his paranormal investigations followed by a ghost hunt! How sweet is that? Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow will be responsible for the event; however, I would like to thank Student Government Association for providing the funding for the event. We could not have done it without them! :)

Lastly, I would like to say that I am running for 2010 IU East Homecoming Queen. Please think about me during nominations. :) Nominations are until the 13th and actual voting will follow shortly after.

That's all I have. Get pumped for Homecoming!
