This week has been JAM PACKED full of activities, excitement, and fun; IT'S HOMECOMING!! And IU East always goes above and beyond to make sure students are SPOILED all week. Homecoming has not only been exciting and fun, but it has been busy, busy, busy! This homecoming is very SPECIAL. Why?? You might ask, well because the volleyball team gets to be here for it. In years past, we've been on the road by Thursday at the Conference Tournament or National game. But not this year... WE'RE BRINGING IT ALL HOME!

Homecoming consists of 3 sporting events. Unfortunately, one isn't at home. Carlie Rider is a cross country runner who made it out of Conference and into the National Tournament. She leaves today (Thursday) for Washington where she will compete for a national title. GO CARLIE!! Next, the basketball game Friday night. The game is at 7:30 at Richmond High School. The basketball game is also where the Canned Food Drive winner will be announced AND it is Rufus' birthday at halftime! Last but certainly not least, OUR HOME FIRST ROUND NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL MATCH! Yes folks, we will be at HOME for the first time ever to play our First Round NAIA Volleyball Match at 2pm. And boy oh boy, I CANNOT WAIT! It's a black out theme, in case you were wondering. WEAR YOUR BLACK! ...that way it’s easier to see their blood! :)

We need a packed house! We need a HOWLING crowd! We need YOU!
