The Best Things about Richmond, IN
10/28/2014
I am into creating lists this week so here are some things I love about Richmond, IN:1. Glenn Miller Park. The park is open until 11 p.m. to the public and located on Richmond's east side, at 2200 East Main Street. If you are a fact oriented you will appreciate this tidbit: the park was established in 1885. I love running at the park in the evening with friends. Not only is it great to hike and go for a run at but it also has a skate park and a large playground for when you want to take a study break and remember what it is like to be a kid again.
2. Waterfall Road. There is a path across from the entrance to the Cardinal Greenway that leads to a gigantic natural waterfall. This is a must do before you graduate IUE!
3. The Cardinal Greenway. I have learned to love to run and the Cardinal Greenway is a great place to do just that.
4. J and J Winery Cafe. They have the best pizzas, made fresh and cooked in an outdoor wood fire stove.
5. Get Fired! Do you have a creative side? Go to Get Fired on Chester Blvd and select a piece of pottery to hand paint.
