Oh Tom Raper Hall

09/16/2014

So I'm sitting in Tom Raper Hall and its always a bitter sweet feeling being in here. I really like Tom Raper, it's home to the school of humanities and it has the most stairs, something I'm learning to love. I enjoy walking into the different classes here, like accidentally walking into a nursing lecture thinking its sociology and the many Purdue (ew..) classes I've just walked into looking for a computer. It's seeing the diversity and all the different corners in here I truly love the most.

One of my favorite spots in Tom Raper is the second story sitting area that over looks the parking lot. No I don't like the parking lot but it's seeing all the trees outside and over looking Reid Hospital that I love the most. It's tranquil, and it's one of the very first spots I found here at the East. I walk past it now since I've moved into a social butterfly and sit in Campus Life, but I still remember the many assignments I got done there and the conversations I had while sitting in the spinny chairs. What a peaceful place huh!

Today there are so many freshman in this hallway and so many people I know walking by my seat against the wall. It's weird and wonderful all at the same time. This is Tom Raper, and it's crazy chaotic wonderfilled.
