Some stories made people cry. Other stories made them laugh.
Hearing the voices of people whose stories had been recorded by StoryCorps touched the emotions of those who packed Indiana University East’s Vivian Auditorium on Tuesday to hear National Public Radio StoryCorps founder Dave Isay.
“Listening,” Isay said, “shows there’s much more we share in common than divides us.”
Isay appeared as part of the university’s “One Book, Many Voices” project. His visit also coincided with National Hispanic Heritage Month.
