Sherlock Poems here, detective extraordinaire.  Perhaps you’ve heard of me? Regardless, you’ve no doubt heard that the IU East Friends of the Library, Drama Club, and Humanities Club are hosting a murder mystery luncheon on Saturday, April 17th.  A murder has been committed in the library, and only my refined intellect is up to the challenge!  Or maybe not.  As a detective, I like to hedge my bets, and a room full of enterprising sleuths seems like just the thing to shed light on this shadowy crime! Murder Mystery on April 17th

Dying to get to the library?…. ….You could be if you buy a ticket for our April 17th “Murder in the Stacks” mystery lunch (the menu isn’t a mystery, but who dies and who did it is). The time is 1923, the place is the library, and the suspects are the entire library staff and all the lunch guests. This library intrigue is hosted by the IU East Friends of the Library and the Drama and Humanities Clubs. It costs $20, which includes a three-course lunch, and proceeds will help fund students to attend the Shakespeare Festival trip.  Seating is exclusive for 40 guests so reserve your ticket now! Murder in the Stacks

A murder in the library!  And only you can solve the crime!  Or help commit it… The IU East Drama club, Humanities club, and the Friends of the Library will hold a Murder Mystery play on April 17th, and we’re looking for some enthusiastic actors to portray the characters! The play is set in the 1920s, and heavy on the dramatic mood of the time.  Anyone is welcome to audition – students, faculty, staff, community residents.  If you’ve had a dramatic itch, or want to try out being an actor, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
