All students within the School of Business and Economics will meet with a School advisor (either by phone, email, or in person) each semester to plan their academic coursework and ensure successful completion of their program.
You can determine which advisor has been assigned to you by going to your Student Center in One.IU. If you don’t see an advisor assigned, use the following information:
School of Business and Economics Academic Advisors
Susan earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan – Flint. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and her Master of Education in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University. Prior to coming to IU East, Susan worked as the Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at The Pennsylvania State University and as an Accountant for Domino’s Pizza headquarters. During her spare time, Susan enjoys running, traveling and volunteering for Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority and the National Panhellenic Conference.

Diane Kenny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Services from Iowa State University and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Diane brings several years of academic advising experience from a variety of college institutions around the country.

Alex completed his Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication at Miami University. He also holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University. Prior to starting at IU East, Alex worked with the Office of Student Conduct at Kent State University and with Maplewood Senior Living, an assisted living community specializing in memory care. In his spare time, Alex enjoys traveling, hiking and watching college football games with friends.
