Power Lunch Series for Next Generation Leaders:

Dr. Marcy Jance and Patty Crawford, MBA are young professionals from Indiana University East leading a six-part power lunch series that not only unlocks but also compartmentalizes Pandora’s Box to creating work-life balance.  A dynamic series for next-generation leaders to meet once a month at the IU East and Richmond Art Museum’s downtown Room 912 art scene. Come and eat a fabulous farm-to-table lunch, and participate in dynamic 40-minute micro-sessions:    Work, Live, Play, Love, Create, and Give.

EQ and You: Creating a Personalized Emotional Intelligence Development Plan

Emotional Intelligence is a term that has come into popular use to describe a set of personal competencies that are closely associated with effective functioning.  Effective EQ has been tied to success in every aspect of life and the good news is that these competencies can be developed.  Participants in this session will have the opportunity to take the EQi instrument and to use their results as the starting point for charting a path to accomplishing their unique personal and professional goals.  The $100 fee for this workshop will cover the cost of the EQi instrument.

During this reflective session, original music compositions will be used to enable participants to see new perspectives.  Participants will have the opportunity to discover and explore the personal growth opportunities suggested by these perspectives. 

 There is no charge for this session; it is being underwritten by the School of Business and Economics.  Registration is required; RSVP at  Light refreshments are included and the session is scheduled for the Community Room in Whitewater Hall.
