Many graduates of our Creative Writing program go on to publish their work in a variety of forums.  We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments–check out what they’ve been up to!

Alumni Spotlight:

Lloyd Mullins came to both writing and education later in life, beginning college at 48. He graduated IU East with a BA in English, with a focus on creative writing. In addition to publishing work in Tributaries as an undergraduate, his short story “Captive” was published in the fiction anthology, Indiana’s Emerging Writers: An Anthology of Fiction, from Z Publishing and his essay, “Finding My Happy Place” in Z Publishing’s upcoming non-fiction anthology, Emerging Writers: An Anthology of Non-Fiction, scheduled for publication on October 30. Both anthologies are/will be available from, as well as at Z Publishing.
