English Major Dannielle Liebherr Wins Judith Roman Royer Award

English Major Dannielle Liebherr has won the 2019 Judith Roman-Royer Writing Contest for her essay “Precision Control.” Dannielle, who will graduate with a BA this Spring, has also won the 2019 Tributaries Prize in Creative Nonfiction for her essay “Bitter.” Dannielle also had two poems that were runners-up in the 2019 Tributaries Prize in Poetry. All selections for the Tributaries Writing Prizes were made by poet Steve Scafidi and will be published in the 2019 edition of Tributaries: A Journal of Creative Arts.

The award was given as part of the English Department’s Celebration of Student Writing events, on Award Night.
