Academic Credit

If you’re interested in completing your internship for academic credit talk with your HSS Advisor to determine if it can count towards your degree requirements.  In most majors an internship can fit into your current plan, depending on the number of credit hours left to complete the degree and the timing of your internship.


Finding an Internship

Locate an internship through these resources:

  • CareerLink- Indiana University East's Internship Database. Sign in with your IU Username and Passphrase to access.
  • IndianaINTERN- Internship database for Indiana Residents.  Don't forget to follow @IndianaINTERN on Twitter for up-to-date internship postings around the state.
  • Contact with a faculty member in your area of interest if you are unable to to find an internship.  They may have connections in the field.
  • Not local? No problem! Use these national internship resources
