Helping You Find What You Need

Throughout your college career, you will need to do research. Some programs require more research than others, but everyone gets the opportunity eventually.

We can help.

We have a number of resources available to you to ease your research needs, and our knowledgeable staff is on-hand to guide you to the sources to best suit you.

Peer-Reviewed Articles

Your professors will often require you to cite articles from Peer-Reviewed Journals. The Library has subscriptions to databases that contain large repositories of articles on various topics.

Check out our Articles & Journals Database for an A-Z listing of the databases we subscribe to.

Subject Guides

Our librarians have compiled Subject Guides full of reference material pre-packaged to make your topical searches easier! These Guides provide at-a-glance information about books, articles, and media we have for a particular subject area / course.

Bibliography & Citation Assistance

Writing a bibliography can be challenging at first. Fortunately, there are several resources that can help.

  • EndNote is citation software that IU East students can download from iuware for free.
  • Zotero is a free, easy to use Firefox extension (and now works with Chrome and Safari) that you can use to collect and manage your resources.

You can also check out our Beginning Research: Writing & Citing libguide page for more help.
