The Indiana University Police Department-East invites the community to attend “Coffee with a Cop” from 8-9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4. The event will be held in Brewfus, IU East’s coffee shop, located in Springwood Hall.

Free coffee and pastries will be provided.

Officers from IUPD-East and surrounding agencies will attend.

IUPD-East Chief Scott Dunning said, “I want to invite the IU East and Richmond community to meet their local law enforcement and help break any barriers that might be out there between police and the community.”

The event is being held on National Coffee with a Cop Day, held the first Wednesday in October with a mission to improve trust and build relationships.
