IU East Spring Leadership Forum is BOOST 2.0: From Vision to Vitality Building on Our Strengths Together

The Indiana University East School of Business and Economics Center for Leadership Development will host its Spring Leadership Forum beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, in Whitewater Hall, Vivian Auditorium. The presentation is “BOOST 2.0: From Vision to Vitality Building on Our Strengths Together.”

“This region is rich with what I call points of positive potential. The Spring Leadership Forum provides a great opportunity for individuals from all facets of the community to come together and share in a conversation about how we can give the community a BOOST by building on our strengths together,” said Fredricka Joyner, associate professor of business administration and organization behavior at IU East.

The invited speakers are Jim Walker and Jeremy Efroymson, president of Efroymson Family Fund.

Walker is back by popular demand after being the featured speaker at BOOST 2013. He is the founder and executive director of Big Car, a nonprofit community creativity organization based in Indianapolis.

Efroymson is president of Efroymson Family Fund. He advises, supports and advocates for organizations that contribute to the arts, cultural vibrancy and enrichment in Indianapolis and beyond.

The presenters will share specific examples of projects and initiatives with proven economic and cultural impact. They will explore key principles – such as bringing together diverse partners and building on unique points of positive potential – that have taken these projects from vision to vitality.

The 2014 Spring Leadership Forum is presented by the IU East Center for Leadership Development. The annual Spring Leadership Forum brings accomplished, diverse leaders from throughout the state of Indiana to IU East to address contemporary leadership issues.
