Indiana University East is hosting its 2010 Scholarship Luncheon to pay tribute to those who have donated to numerous IU East scholarships. The Invest in People luncheon will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Forest Hills Country Club.

Sponsors for the event are Ramsey, Rodefeld, Kassens & North, LLP, Milestone Contractors, First Bank Richmond, and Mound Printing.

Proceeds from the scholarship luncheon benefit IU East’s general scholarship fund. Funding for scholarships is critical to supporting student access to education and enhancing opportunities for success.

The keynote speaker is Gerry A. Dick, president and managing editor for Grow Indiana Media Ventures, LLC, and the host of Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick, Indiana’s most watched local business television program.

Gerry, a broadcast news veteran, and Scott A. Jones, a technology entrepreneur, formed Grow Indiana Media Ventures, LLC, in June 2000. The media company delivers Indiana business news and information through multiple media sources and InsideIndianaBusiness.com; Inside INdiana Business Radio, The INside Edge Morning Briefing and INside Edge Mid-Day e-newsletters and interactive media products.

Individual tickets are $50 and sponsorship opportunities are available. Every participant will receive a complimentary book, The Bill Cook Story – Ready, Fire, Aim.
