Indiana University East will host “Homecoming 2018: From Pioneers to the Pack” November 2-10. Alumni, friends and the campus community are invited to participate in activities and events throughout the week. This year’s theme celebrates the 10th anniversary the campus mascot became Rufus the Red Wolf, and the pack referred to as the Red Wolves.

Memorable Moments, Events and Celebrations
IU East continues to be an innovative leader in online education. In June, a book collaboratively written by 42 faculty members, across 25 disciplines, was released to share the wealth of experience and knowledge IU East faculty have gained in designing and instructing online courses. The book, “Best Practices in Online Teaching and Learning across Academic Disciplines,” was released in August. The book continues to gain attention. This November, Inside Higher Ed published a book review on the text.
Indiana University East has partnered with Centerville High School (CHS) as the location for all of its men’s and women’s soccer home games. The Centerville High School soccer fields are located in the southwest corner of the CHS campus at 507 Willow Grove Road, Centerville, Indiana.
For Indiana University East the past year has brought many celebrations, accomplishments and memorable moments. The campus experienced a record number of graduates who joined an alumni family now numbering over 9,000, celebrated the grand opening of the Student Events and Activities Center, and remembered the legacy of Chancellor Emeritus David Fulton who passed away.
