IU East announces Fred Nottingham scholars

Three local high school students have received the Fred Nottingham Scholarship. Krista Trumbo, Taylor Webster and Sarah Jo Wellman were each awarded with a $1,000 scholarship.

Trumbo and Webster plan to attend IU East, beginning with the start of the fall 2015 semester. Wellman plans to attend IU Bloomington.

Trumbo is a Lincoln High School graduate. She is from Cambridge City, Ind., and currently living in Richmond. She plans to major in education.

Webster is a graduate of Seton Catholic High School and a resident of Richmond. Webster will major in political science.

Wellman is a graduate of Centerville High School. She is from Centerville, Ind. While attending IU, Wellman plans to major in business.

The Fred Nottingham Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors from a high school within Wayne County, Ind., who plan to study at IU East or another IU campus.
