IU East Center for Leadership Development to host workshop on financial IQ

November 8, 2011 |

The IU East Center for Leadership Development is hosting a free workshop on “What’s Your Financial IQ?” from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 10. The workshop will be held in the Community Room, located in Whitewater Hall.

Light refreshments will be served.

In today’s world it is more important than ever to understand how economic and financial things work. Often some basic personal financial management principles escape us. How do we approach our credit, debt, retirement savings, and insurance planning? This session will help you test your financial literacy IQ and learn about some informational resources and skills that may be new to you.

“What’s Your Financial IQ?” will be presented by Marcy Jance, assistant professor of business administration at Indiana University East. Jance earned her Ph.D. in Management Science from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Marcy primarily teaches courses in statistics, introduction to business, and decision modeling.
This session is being underwritten by the IU East Center for Leadership Development. Registration for the workshop is available online at iue.edu/leadership as space is limited.
