Indiana University East has announced the following REVISED attendance protocols for the Red Wolf fall sports season.

The revised policies go into effect starting with IU East’s next home athletics events, which are scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 2-3.

* Volleyball (Lingle Court) – IU East volleyball student-athletes will be provided with two tickets per home contest, to distribute at their discretion. Only spectators with tickets will be admitted to IU East home volleyball contests. Spectators will be required to wear masks and to physically distance in the bleachers. Spectators should attend only if they are symptom-free. All spectators will be temperature-screened. Due to physical distancing capacity of Lingle Court, only ticket-holding spectators can be admitted. Spectators from visiting teams will not be permitted to attend.

* Soccer (Centerville High School) – Spectators will be permitted at IU East home games. Spectators are required to physically distance and to wear masks/face coverings in the bleachers and designated areas. Spectators should attend only if they are symptom-free.

* Cross Country (IU East Cross Country Course) – Spectator policies for the River States Conference meet scheduled for Nov. 7 at IU East are being evaluated. A final determination will be made closer to the meet date.

* Golf (Highland Lake Golf Course and Liberty Country Club) – Spectators permitted at the discretion of the host courses. Face coverings and social distancing are required. Spectators should attend only if they are symptom-free.

The attendance protocols are part of the campus efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The revised protocols were put in place following a review of athletics events hosted by IU East earlier this fall. These revised measures will be in place until further notice.
