Upcoming IU East Center for Leadership Development workshop focuses on Facilitating Meetings for Results

The IU East Center for Leadership Development is hosting a Management Series workshop on Facilitating Meetings for Results from 1–4 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room.DanaHarrison

Registration is available online and required to attend.

Facilitating Meetings for Results is an experiential course that gives participants the tools they need to achieve intended meeting results.  Participants will leave with the tools necessary to achieve immediate, dramatic improvement in the meetings for which they are responsible.

Costs:
•    $75/workshop/person
•    $50/workshop/group of at least three people from the same organization/business

The workshop will be presented by Dana Harrison. She is the owner and principle of Synergy Consulting Services, which drives results through clarifying strategy, developing systems and building talent.

Before launching Synergy, Harrison was the director of Talent Acquisition & Leadership Services at ADVISA, a management consulting company based in Carmel, Ind. There, she was responsible for the standardization and development of more than 30 services ADVISA now offers, including launching their coaching practice and overseeing the development of a year-long leadership development program. Harrison’s clients have ranged from start-ups to multi-national companies in the Fortune 200 and included businesses in healthcare, technology, manufacturing, non-profit and professional services.

Prior to ADVISA, Harrison was the executive director of Dress for Success Indianapolis where she led a five-fold increase in the provision of services to women seeking self-sufficiency. She has also worked in financial services, manufacturing and education.

The Center for Leadership Development is sponsored by the IU East School of Business and Economics. The center focuses on enhancing the managerial and leadership capacities within the IU East service region.
