Faculty in the School of Natural Science and Mathematics at Indiana University East develop and utilize some of the latest techniques available in educational pedagogy, are actively engaged in contemporary research and routinely publish the results of those investigations in peer reviewed journals and nationally distributed texts. Research interests and topics range from the life sciences and biotechnology to operator theory and educational applications.
Research facilities and faculty offices are located on the Indiana University East campus in Whitewater Hall in Richmond, Indiana just a block from the I-70 Chester Boulevard exit. IUE researchers, both faculty and their students, are forging breakthroughs and discoveries that advance knowledge, address important national, state and local needs, and through consultation and civic engagement contribute to the economic growth and social advancement of Indiana and Ohio, as well as of Richmond and surrounding communities.
