All candidates for the degree Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing must fulfill the following requirements:
Grades: Students must attain a minimum Cumulative grade-point-average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, and all courses (or their equivalents) must be completed with a minimum grade of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale ("C" letter grade). You may retake, one time per course, any course which does not meet this requirement. If you fail one nursing course twice, or fail two nursing courses once, you will be dismissed from the program.
Distribution: Complete a minimum of 120 credit hours total, including all required courses and others if necessary.
Timeframe: Complete all coursework in six years or less.
Residency: Complete a 30-hour residency requirement in nursing that will be met by the upper division nursing courses. Correspondence courses will not count toward the 30-hour residency requirement in nursing.
