Student Success Coach
- Whitewater Hall 116
Hey there! My name is Maggie Furr, and I am a Student Success Coach in the Office of Student Success. Think of me as your own personal guide—I am here to help you navigate your transition to college, identify your plans and goals, access campus resources, and unlock your potential to help you become the person you want to be both personally and professionally. Stepping outside of your comfort zone may seem daunting at first, but I am here to help you every step of the way.
I have been with IU East since 2016 in the Office of Admissions and as a student in a master’s program. Prior to my time at IU East, I was an IU student at another campus, so you could certainly say that Indiana University is in my blood! I love the IU East community and all it has done for me, and I can’t wait to help you feel at home here too.
During my free time, I enjoy game nights with friends or family, reading historical fiction and fantasy novels, listening to live music, and outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, kayaking, and canoeing. My husband and I have two fur children that we love dearly, and we hope to be able to open an animal rescue for senior and aging dogs.
I am looking forward to working with you as you grow during this journey!
