Hello All! As most of you know I am a dance teacher and it takes up my entire life. && I love it. This weekend we had our first competition in INDY but we only took 4 number with us (we usually take about 20-25). I have pictures to show you of one of them.

As you can see I clearly LOVE my girls so much <3 And for being so small they rocked the competition!! If you look closely you can see that their tap shoes are rhinestoned. Yes every little bit helps I am a crazy crazy dance teacher but not as bad as Abby Lee Miller from 'Dance Moms' (I hope you guys watch that show)

To finish up the weekend I was invited to see STOMP! And it was amazing! After it was over Travis kept beating on everything trying to make music (it got super annoying) But this is something everyone should experience at least once.

What a week

Finally, a chance to catch up and slow down a little. This week had everything from 2 tests (both passed by the way!), clinicals at Reid, a trip to super bowl village, and of course the Super Bowl. If you didn't get a chance to make it to Indy and walk around downtown then I'm sorry! lol. The only word I can use to describe it is "crazyness". I have never been around so many people in such a tight area. I went down on Friday and they said there was like 200,000 people in the city! It was shoulder to shoulder the whole night and you pretty much couldn't walk on the side walks because of the crowds in the bars and restuarants. I was able to get up close (still a block and a half away lol) to the LMFAO concert downtown, which was pretty awesome because of how many people were all out in one place watching the show.

Hope everyone has a good week back to school  and keeps working towards finishing up the year. Oh yeah, don't forget only 33 more days until Spring Break!! (but who's counting anyways lol)

I Wish That I Could Have This Moment for Life

Was this not THE best SUPERBOWL Half-Time show, EVER?!? DREAM TEAM!

Let me just start off by saying that this is the first SUPERBOWL Sunday I am not in my house hearing my father yell at his big screen…kind of weird.  The cool thing is, Woody’s, the pub in Parkwood (the sort of neighborhood I live in) is having a Superbowl Sunday and serving the “American favorites” so they say, of hotdogs and nachos. Since I’m five hours ahead of you guys back home, I would have to stay up till 4am to watch the game, and sorry, but watching Tom Brady hopefully lose is not worth the nachos and late night. I’ll just catch the half-time show on YouTube. J Now, the nitty gritty.

Superbowl Next weekend!!

What to Do?!

So my sister lives in Greenfield, IN.  Near Indy.  I haven’t seen her since Christmas, and mom wants to go up.  When?  Super bowl weekend!!  What’s the problem?  I’m also having a super bowl party at my house Sunday evening.  Well, I wouldn’t say a blowout party, but a few people coming over.

Check out this delicious looking snack I thought about making for this party… stole the idea from pinterest!

So what do I do?  Do I stay home, clean house, make awesome appetizers, and enjoy the football game.  Or go to Indy, where I can enjoy the Zip line through Indy, enjoy a few good bands, and actually be apart of the Super bowl?  Well, from the street! LOL

I guess what it boils down to, if I can kick myself into gear and get all my homework done before the weekend festivities begin!?!?

Back on!

Finally figured out how to get back onto the login screen lol. It made me update my browser and then erased all book marks That's why I'm in nursing and not computers haha. I can't believe we are already in our third week of the semester already! I'm finally through my first 2 weeks of "clinical orientation" aka 4 days of 8 hour classes on what our clinical rotations are going to be like for this semester. I start out this Thursday at the adult day care center. I'm a littler nervous to work with my first psych patients but still excited to just get back out and working with people again.

Just have to keep my eye on the prize and knock out one more semester and get that much closer to being done!
